Papua New Guinea

The 1975 Constitution of Papua New Guinea pledges “to guard and pass on to those who come after us our noble traditions and the Christian principles that are ours...” The constitution guarantees freedom of conscience, thought and religion and the practice of religious beliefs, including the right to manifest and propagate one’s beliefs. The government respects the rights of religious freedom in practice.
