The constitution provides for freedom of religion, expression and assembly. The constitution states that individuals have the freedom to change their religion or belief and freedom to manifest and propagate their religion. Religious communities are entitled to establish and maintain places of education including providing religious instruction. Individuals are not to be forced to receive religious instruction or take any oath which is contrary to his religion or belief. According to State Department reports the government respects these rights in practice.
